Safeguarding

Here at The Vale we have the children’s wellbeing at heart. In nine out of ten safeguarding concerns we would discuss these concerns with you before involving Social Care Direct. However, depending on the seriousness of the concern, we have a professional duty and responsibility to notify the appropriate agency prior to speaking to you. We appreciate all your support and understanding as we ensure children’s safety is our highest priority.

You can read our Child Protection and Safeguarding policy on our Statutory Information page.
